S-Cath™ L is the longer-length version of the trusted S-Cath™ System, offering increased instrument reach while maintaining the same intuitive insertion technique and system benefits. It provides all the components required to employ the Seldinger technique for guided suprapubic catheter placement, supporting accurate positioning and enhanced procedural safety
Extended 3-Stage Guidewire: 3.8cm longer than the standard S-Cath™ system, the S-Cath™ L guidewire provides additional reach when required. The use of a 3-stage guidewire ensures accurate catheter placement, significantly reducing the risks associated with SPC placement compared with blind trocar insertion techniques
The S-Cath™ L ensures clinicians are prepared for a wider range of patient presentations and remain confident in the safe and accurate suprapubic catheter placement
Reduced Trauma: By incorporating the Seldinger technique, the S-Cath™ System minimises the risk of trauma and damage to surrounding tissues during insertion.

The S-Cath™ System L is provided as a sterile, cost-effective kit that includes a needle that is 200mm long, a 270mm trocar, with a guidewire 463mm long, a sheath dilator, 16Fr silicone Foley catheter, scalpel, and two syringes.
